Markets Mixed Over CPI

The markets traded mixed during the midday over a report that while consumer prices slipped in September, core inflation rose. The Dow gained 36 points to 11,986 while Nasdaq lost 4 points to 2341. S&P 500 added 2 points to 1366. The 30-year bond edged up as the yield eased to 4.906%.
