Markets Close Lower Over Rate Uncertainty

Uncertainty over interest rates weighed down the markets even as oil prices dropped to their lowest level of the year. The Dow fell 15 points to close at 11,852 while Nasdaq lost 7 points to 2308. S&P 500 slipped 3 points to 1350. The 30-year bond eased as the yield rose to 4.913%.
