Markets Close Higher Ahead Of Earnings

The markets finished the session modestly higher ahead of earnings reports. The Dow added 9 points to close at a record 11,867. Nasdaq rose 4 points to 2315 while S&P 500 added 3 points to 1353. The 30-year bond eased as the yield rose to 4.879%.
