Markets Drop As Production Falls

The markets continued to drop during the midday as industrial production fell. The Dow plunged 71 points to 11,910 while Nasdaq tumbled 28 points to 2336. S&P 500 dropped 9 points to 1360. The 30-year bond rose as the yield eased to 4.877%.
