Markets Mixed Over Soft Sales

The markets traded mixed during the midday as retail sales slipped in September. The Dow fell 26 points to 11,921 while Nasdaq gained 4 points to 2350. S&P 500 slipped a point to 1362. The 30-year bond eased as the yield rose to 4.937%.
