Dow Closes Over 12,000 For First Time

Solid earnings news lifted the markets to a higher close with the Dow gaining 19 points to 12,012, closing above 12,000 for the first time. Nasdaq rose 4 points to 2341 while S&P 500 added a point to 1367. The 30-year bond eased as the yield inched up to 4.910%.
