Markets Close Mixed Over Economy

It was a mixed close for the domestic markets as modest U. S. economic growth tempered a drop in the international markets. The Dow added 5 points to 12,809 while Nasdaq lost 5 points to 2505. S&P 500 slipped 2 points to 1471. The 30-year bond eased as the yield inched up to 4.836%.
