Markets Higher Over Strong Retail Sales

Strong March retail sales figures lifted the markets higher during the midday with the Dow soaring 114 points to 12,726. Nasdaq surged 25 points to 2517 while S&P 500 climbed 15 points to 1468. The 30-year bond inched up as the yield eased to 4.902%.
