Markets Close Higher Over Flat Core Inflation

The markets closed higher as core inflation remained flat. The Dow climbed 59 points to 12,612 while Nasdaq gained 12 points to 2492. S&P 500 rose 5 points to 1453. The 30-year bond eased as the yield edged up to 4.926%.
