Markets Near Flat As Home Prices Plunge

The markets traded barely above the flatline during the midday as home prices plunged. The Dow added 4 points to 12,138 while Nasdaq gained 8 points to 2365. S&P 500 rose 3 points to 1385. The 30-year bond edged up as the yield eased to 4.853%.
