Markets Close Lower Over Sluggish Economy

The markets closed lower with investors concerned about the sluggish economy. The Dow plunged 73 points to 12,090 while Nasdaq tumbled 28 points to 2351. The S&P 500 dropped 12 points to 1377. The 30-year bond rose as the yield eased to 4.796%.
