Concerns over the slowing economy weighed down the markets during the midday with the Dow tumbling 75 points to 12,089. Nasdaq dropped 28 points to 2351 while S&P 500 fell 11 points to 1378. The 30-year bond rose as the yield eased to 4.795%.
