Surging Oil Sends Markets Down To Lower Close

A surge in oil prices sent the markets down to a lower close with the Dow falling 43 points to 12,919. Nasdaq slipped 3 points to 2524 while S&P 500 lost 3 points to 1481. The 30-year bond rose as the yield eased to 4.828%.
