Markets Close Higher As Oil Slips

A day of light trading closed higher as oil prices slipped. The Dow climbed 64 points to 12,408 while Nasdaq gained 12 points to 2414. S&P 500 rose 6 points to 1417. The 30-year bond inched up as the yield eased to 4.733%.
