Markets Close Lower Even As Rates Maintained

While the Federal Reserve held interest rates steady for the fourth time in a row, officials expressed concerns about the slowdown in the housing market. The Dow lost 13 points to 12,316 while Nasdaq fell 11 points to 2432. S&P 500 slipped a point to 1412. The 30-year bond inched up as the yield eased to 4.609%.
