Markets Mixed At Midday

The markets traded mixed during the midday even as first time applications for unemployment benefits dropped. The Dow added 7 points to 12,317 while Nasdaq slipped 2 points to 2443. S&P 500 held steady at 1413. The 30-year bond edged up as the yield eased to 4.597%.
