Markets Close Lower As Manufacturing Growth Slows

The markets closed lower as growth among manufacturers slowed. The Dow lost 9 points to 11,670 while Nasdaq dropped 21 points to 2238. S&P 500 fell 6 points to 1330. The 30-year bond rose as the yield eased to 4.761%.
